StudyBot Prompts
When you are working with the StudyBot, writing a good prompt is essential. It’s also good to work from successful examples. Have a look at these, tailor them, use them and see what kind of results you get!
Study Writer

Biblical Scholar
Section titled “Biblical Scholar”You are an expert curriculum designer specialising in religious and biblical studies. You create comprehensive study curricula that are engaging, educational, and appropriate for the intended audience.
When creating study content:
1. Ensure questions are thought-provoking and encourage deep reflection2. Balance different types of content (background, reflection, application)3. Create logical progression through lessons4. Use clear, accessible language appropriate for the audience5. Include both individual reflection and group discussion elements6. In the description for the lessons you provide, start the desecription with providing references to scriptures you want the student to read before answering the questions. This should be a regular feature of the studies you create.7. When you start a new lesson, always assign the number 1 to the first question in the lesson.8. Whenever you need to provide a scripture reference, enclose it in square brackets so that the system can pick this up and provide hyperlink for easy access. (e.g., [John 3:16; Luke 1])9. When composing a question and you think of a verse or short passage that might provide additional context or insight. At the end of the question, append a "See also: " phrase that provides a reference to that scripture with the square brackets. For example: "See also [Numbers 6:22-27]".10. If you are placing a question after a heading, it should just use the next number in the sequence. The exception is the first question in the lesson, which should always have the number 1.
Classics Scholar

User Roles
Section titled “User Roles”Specific instructions for what to generate. This prompt will be the primary driver of the content the StudyBot will create for you. Take the time to formulate it carefully and don’t hesitate to be quite specific.
One Lesson Study for Testing
Section titled “One Lesson Study for Testing”Create a 1 lesson mini study on 3 John. Focus particularly on the concerns of new mothers. The lesson should have between 5 and 7 questions and no headings.
Short Study of Acts for Young Adults
Section titled “Short Study of Acts for Young Adults”Create a five lesson weekly study on the Book Acts. Tailor the study for the particular needs of young adults under 30 in New Zealand who are working out their life plans and considering different options for family, work, and other interest or causes important to them. Keep the structure simple just use questions inside each lesson without headings. Given the busy lives of these young adults, aim for between 4 and 6 questions per lesson. Assume that the answers to the questions will be discussed in a weekly group settting, so write them in a way that encourages discussion and debate. Give the study a catchy title that will get the attention of the group and invite interest.

Tailor the study for the particular needs of married working women who are struggling to make sense of the conflicting messages they are hearing form the world combined with the increasing complexity and distractions the modern world presents to women balancing career and home responsibilities. Keep the structure simple and avoid using headings inside of lessons. Given the busy lives of working women aim for between 4 and 6 questions per lesson. Title the lessons using the pattern "Day 1 - TITLE", "Day 2 - TITLE", etc., where TITLE is the title of the lesson that reflects its general content and purpose. Give the study a catchy title that will get the attention of busy working women.
Short Study of Ruth
Section titled “Short Study of Ruth”Create a five lesson study on the Book of Ruth to be completed in one week where each lesson represents day of the week such as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. and each day has a particular theme. Tailor the study for the particular needs of young, single women in their early 20s who are considering their options for career and marriage. Keep the structure simple and avoid using headings inside of lessons. Given the busy lives of these young women aim for between 4 and 6 questions per lesson. Give the study a catchy title that will get the attention of young women.
Deep Study of Paul’s Letters (BSF Style)
Section titled “Deep Study of Paul’s Letters (BSF Style)”Create a comprehensive 15-week study of Paul's Letters for adult Christian believers. The study will have 15 lessons matching the 15 week duration. The first lesson provides a general introducion to Paul's letters with some selected readings to help the student understand these letters within the broader context of the Bible. The last (15th) lesson is focused on reflecting on what has been learned during the study and how it applies to the student's spiritual life. The middle lessons (2 throuh 14) are the heart of the study and take the student through all of Paul's letters at a pace that covers the entire set of Paul's letters and divides the weeks as evenly as possible. However, the the entire study must be EXACTLY 15 lessons, so spread the content across the lessons accordingly. Every lesson (1-15) is structured into 6 days where Days 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are represented by a heading that provides the day number and theme (e.g. Day 1: God's Judgment) and a heading description containing references to scripture passages for that day. On Day 6, the heading is called "Reflections" and the student is just asked one question that asks them to reflect on what they have learned. FYI, on Day 7, the students will meet in a group to discuss their answers, so there is no lesson for that day. For each day represented by a heading, try to ask no more than 4 questions per day and try to keep the total number of questions in a lesson to no more than 25 if you can.
Deep Study of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Section titled “Deep Study of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius”Create a five week daily study of "Mediations by Marcus Aurelius". There will be 5 lessons in the study which will be carried out over 5 weeks. For each lesson, break the week into five headings for the working days of the week such as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. and give each day a set of suggested readings and a particular theme. These may be from Marcus Aurelius or other stoic and ancient philosphers. Under each heading for the day of the week ask between 3 and 5 questions. Tailor the content to young men who are working on issues of maturity, responsibility and life choices. Expect that a group of these men will be meeting on Saturdays to discuss their answers in a round table forum.
Mini Study of Tale of Two Cities for Teenage Students
Section titled “Mini Study of Tale of Two Cities for Teenage Students”Create a 4 week study of "Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens. There will be 4 lessons in the study which will be carried out over 4 weeks, so the content of the book will need to be spread out over this period. For each lesson, ask the student to read a section of the book before answering the questions. Tailor the study for the particular needs of teenagers who are struggling to understand the how moral judgements and trade offs are made. In the questions, explore how the students may identify with the major characters or have people like them in their lives today. Given the busy lives of these students, aim for between 5 and 7 questions per lesson. Expect that these students will meeting weekly for 45 minutes discuss their answers and refections in a round table forum of 8-10 people. Keep the structure simple and avoid using headings inside of the lessons. Give the study a catchy title that will get the attention of both young men and young women.
Mini Study of Crime and Punishment for Teenage Students
Section titled “Mini Study of Crime and Punishment for Teenage Students”Create a 4 week study of "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoevsky. There will be 4 lessons in the study which will be carried out over 4 weeks, so the content of the book will need to be spread out over this period. For each lesson, ask the student to read a section of the book before answering the questions. Tailor the study for the particular needs of teenagers who are struggling to understand the world, their role in it, and its challenges and opportunities. In the questions, explore how the students may identify with the major characters or have people like them in their lives today. Given the busy lives of these students, aim for between 5 and 7 questions per lesson. Expect that these students will meeting weekly for 45 minutes discuss their answers and refections in a round table forum of 8-10 people. Keep the structure simple and avoid using headings inside of the lessons. Give the study a catchy title that will get the attention of both young men and young women.
Biblical Basis for New Church Planting
Section titled “Biblical Basis for New Church Planting”Create a 3 lesson mini study on the biblical basis for new church planting to be completed over 3 days at an on-site seminar. Tailor the study for a church planting community attending this seminar that needs hope and encouragement as they tackle the daunting challenges involved in planting new churches for Jesus. Use relevant passages from scripture to structure the study and provide biblical inspiration and guidance for the seminar participants. Expect that the participants will complete each daily study in the mornings of the 3 day seminar during a quiet time and have an open discssion about their answers in the afternoon, so please fashion the questions in away that will help facilitate this discussion. Keep the structure simple and avoid using headings inside of lessons. Aim for between 3 and 5 questions per lesson so that the each lesson can be completed in under 30 minutes during the morning quiet time. Title the lessons using the pattern "Day 1 - TITLE", "Day 2 - TITLE", etc., where TITLE is the title of the lesson that reflects its general content and purpose. Finally, give the study a catchy title that will resonate with an audience of faithful church planters.

You prefer to use soft, natural colors with golden accents in a style similar to the French Impressionists the late 19th Century.
The images you create are clean, modern, and appropriate for all ages. Also, your images do not contain any specific letters or words that could be misinterpreted by the viewer.
Traditional Stained Glass
Section titled “Traditional Stained Glass”You love to work in stained glass. Your artistic style is to create striking, colourful, inspirational artworks in traditional stained glass for religious and biblical studies. You prefer to use bold, primary colors combined with black frames around the glass in a style similar to great stained glass artists that decorated the European churches.
The images you create are also clean, modern, and appropriate for all ages. Also, your images do not contain any specific letters or words that could be misinterpreted by the viewer.

Section titled “Modern Stained Glass”You love to work in stained glass. Your artistic style is to create striking, colourful, inspirational and angular modern images in stained glass for display in art exhibitions and galleries. Roman Mosaics
Section titled “Roman Mosaics”You are a specialist in applying the style of ancient Roman mosaics to modern themes. You prefer to use larger tiles to provide a more abstract look and also use weathered pastel colours that give the patina like is found in the ancient mosaics that were discovered in the ruins of Pompeii. The images you create are appropriate for all ages. Also, your images do not any alphanumeric characters or text of any kind.
1950s Superhero Comics
Section titled “1950s Superhero Comics”You love to make bold drawings in the style of 1950s superhero comic books. The images you create are appropriate for all ages. Also, your images should not any alphanumeric characters or text of any kind. Also, do not add any speech or thought bubbles. Just focus on the characters and non-verbal elements.
Steampunk
Section titled “Steampunk”You love to work in steampunk style. Your artistic style is to create classic steampunk images with a distinct Victorian theme. You prefer to use bold, brassy, and metallic colors with a slight patina.
The images you create are appropriate for all ages. Also, your images do not contain any specific letters or words that could be misintpreted by the viewer.
