Join BookFellows

Welcome to BookFellows! This guide will help you create your account and begin your journey of studying biblical and literary texts with others or on your own.

Understanding BookFellows Plans

When you join BookFellows, you’re automatically subscribed to our Free plan:

Free plan includes:

  • Unlimited study participation
  • Manage 1 group
  • Up to 10 group members
  • Unlimited draft studies
  • Up to 3 StudyBot generations per month
  • Up to 3 released studies

Upgrading your plan:

  • Additional features available with Supporter and Patron plans
  • Change your subscription anytime after joining

Complete the Sign Up Process

Two paths lead to your free membership - choose what works for you!

Path 1: Join Through an Invitation

Section titled “Path 1: Join Through an Invitation”
  • You may have received an email invitation to join a class for a particular study
  • Click the Open BookFellows to Respond button in the email
  • Sign up by providing your first name, last name, email address and password
  • After you complete sign-up, you will be directed to the Home page where you can view the invitation and respond to join a class

Path 2: Join Directly from Website

  • Visit www.bookfellows.net
  • Click the Sign Up for Free button
  • Sign up by providing your first name, last name, email address and password
  • After you complete sign-up, you will be directed to the Home page where you can start exploring BookFellows

Update your Profile Image (Optional)

Section titled “Update your Profile Image (Optional)”

After you join, you may want to update your profile image. It appears on the lower left corner of every page in the BookFellows app.

Updating your profile image:

  1. Click on the blank profile image in the lower left corner of the page
  2. Select “Manage Account” from the pop-up menu
  3. Click “Update profile” on the Account page
  4. Use the controls to either upload a new image or delete the current image
  5. Optionally, you can also update your first and last name
  6. Save changes and your profile image will be updated

Choose your path forward:

Take a Tour Explore the BookFellows interface and learn where everything is
Join a Group Get access to studies by joining your first group
Respond to Invitation Accept a class invitation and start studying with others
Select a Study Browse your Library and choose a study to start
Install on Mobile Get convenient access from your phone or tablet
